Willow Avenue Mennonite Church invites you to a free screening of Sugarcane, a groundbreaking investigation that exposes a shocking cover-up of cultural genocide perpetrated by the church and government, and illuminates the enduring love, beauty and courage of an Indigenous community. After the documentary, a panel of local experts will discuss the local reverberations of this film.

This monthly group, hosted at CMAC, is open to screenwriters at any level of experience. Led by Candace Egan from the Central California Film and TV Institute at Fresno State, each session will offer professional instruction, writing exercises, and peer feedback in a supportive environment.

Funds raised through the Walk for Recovery directly support the life-changing ministry of Central Valley Teen Challenge.
