Contest Rules

2024 KVPR $10,000 Drawing Rules

1. White Ash Broadcasting, Inc (dba KVPR) will hold the 2024 KVPR $10,000 Drawing (Raffle).

2. The Raffle will be limited to 800 tickets sold. Each ticket sold will count for one entry.

3. The price for each ticket for the Raffle is $100.00.

4. Tickets will go on sale no earlier than July 22, 2024.

5. Individuals may purchase a ticket for the Raffle by returning the raffle entry via U.S. Mail, by calling KVPR at 559-275-8989 or in person at 2589 Alluvial Ave, Clovis, CA 93611 during normal business hours.

6. California law prohibits the sale of Raffle tickets on the internet. Users may download a printable entry form at KVPR.org/10k.

7. The deadline to purchase tickets for the Raffle is 11:59:59 PM PDT Saturday August 31, 2024.

8. KVPR will retain the ticket stubs of all entries and will send/return the matching tickets to those who purchase tickets.

9. The drawing of the winning Raffle tickets will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. at the KVPR Broadcast Center in Clovis, CA.

10. The winners will be drawn from the ticket stubs that have been detached from all tickets sold for entry in the Raffle.

11. KVPR employees, board members and prize sponsors, or the immediate family members of KVPR employees, board members or prize sponsors are not eligible to win prizes in the Raffle.

12. The Grand Prize is $10,000. The second prize will be a two-night stay at the Oceanpoint Ranch in Cambria. The third prize will be $250 in restaurant gift cards in your community. Second and third place prizes subject to change.

13. The Grand Prize winner of the Raffle will be drawn first, followed by the second and third prize winners.

14. Following the drawing, the names of the Raffle winners will be announced on KVPR and posted on KVPR.org.

15. All prize claimants must be 18 years of age or older.

16. Prize winners need not be present at drawing to win.

17. Winner must take delivery of the Grand Prize no later than 30 days from the date of drawing. If the winning ticket holder does not take possession of the Grand Prize by this date, KVPR retains ownership of the Grand Prize and reserves the right to determine its next course of action, including without limitation, the right to designate an alternative winner.

18. The winner of the Grand Prize drawing agrees to let KVPR use his/her name and/or photograph, audio, video likeness on on-air, on KVPR.org and in all publicity and marketing materials for this and future station promotions.

19. No cash substitutes will be allowed.

20. All winners will be responsible for timely payment of all taxes/costs associated with delivery or receipt of any prizes or required by any government agency.
