Award-winning pianist and composer Talon Smith will perform his newly published masterpiece, “Sonata in C minor, Op. 2” for solo piano, on January 24 showcasing his unique voice, mastery of the piano, and ability to evoke emotion through music. He will also perform two of Chopin’s greatest masterworks—Polonaise-Fantaisie and Ballade in F minor. He will then take you on a vivid musical journey through Mussorgsky’s epic magnum opus, Pictures at an Exhibition.
Quincy Johnson II has opened for Joey "Coco" Diaz, Darren Carter, Flip Schultz, Theo Von, Al Jackson, Greg Behrendt, Quincy Jones, and more while on the road doing standup comedy. He's also been seen in motion pictures and featured on several TV shows including Community on NBC, Black-ish on ABC, VH1's Walk of Shame Shuttle, and BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Black Flag is an American band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California, by guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member Greg Ginn. Their discography includes seven studio albums and two live albums. Vocalist Mike Vallely, first sang with the band as a guest vocalist in 2003, before becoming the band’s fifth vocalist in 2014.

February at Arts Visalia will showcase the work of Mirabel Wigon and The Visalia Senior Center painters’ group. Wigon invites the viewer to imagine spaces where the perceptual, personal, and the collective meet as a metaphor for hope in our tumultuous world with her paintings. The Visalia Senior Center hosts a painting group where artists can socialize and develop their artistic skillsets. The exhibitions will run February 6 – March 1, 2025. The opening reception will be held Friday, February 7, 5 – 7:30PM.
