Join author Amy Shea at the Memorial Mausoleum at Ararat Armenian Cemetery for the launch of her debut book, Too Poor to Die: The Hidden Realities of Dying in the Margins. Through intimate essays and fieldwork, Shea brings to light the stories of those who pass unnoticed, unhoused, unclaimed, and underserved. The afternoon will include a reading, conversation, and book signing with the author, accompanied by a live bagpiper, a brief memorial honoring those buried in the county cemetery, and a reception with baked goods alongside coffee and tea.
