The CSUB 60+ Club Possibilities Day gives an opportunity to see all the interests the group does on campus. Members are 60 and older, retired or semi-retired, and enjoy working with CSUB. You can talk to the organizers about all of the available activities.

On display now through October 9 in the Fresno State Conley Gallery is an exhibition of the Guerrilla Girls social protest posters. An in-person artist talk featuring the Guerrilla Girls will be held September 10 in the Resnick Student Union at Fresno State. A reception will follow in the Conley Art Gallery. All events are free and open to the public. Parking is $5.

Lena Mubsutina is the author of Amreekiya, an Arab American Book Award winner, a finalist for the Louise Meriwether First Book Prize, and one of Foreword’s “Four Phenomenal Debut Novels.” Her work has appeared in Sukoon, A Gathering Together, and The Offing, among others, and she has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes. The evening will also feature live music with Morning Star, so bring your dinner, lawn chair or blanket.

The City of Fresno is expecting approximately $11.6 million in federal funding for community development and to improve housing. Attend a meeting and share your ideas on how the City should spend those funds through the 2027-2028 Annual Action Plan.
