Independence at Home will present a combination of gentle movements, breathing and tips on mindfulness, to help participants release tension and reconnect with their bodies. No experience required—just wear comfortable clothing and bring an open mind for relaxation and renewal.
Guests from the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission will speak to seniors ages 60 and older on how to use their smartphones, computers and tablets. These one-hour workshops will also provide an opportunity to learn how to identify spam calls, send text messages and make important calls using the cell phone.
San Francisco Bay Area vocalist Karen Marguth is one of the most acclaimed vocal artists to emerge in the 2000s. She has released six albums as a leader, three of which have been listed in DownBeat’s annual Best of the Year issue, and one of which received a rare four-and-a-half stars. Joining Karen will be Mike Taylor on guitar, Nathan Guzman on drums, David Aus on keys, and Clare Reinhold on bass.

These workshops are designed to help participants learn that falls and the fear of falling can be controllable. Participants will learn to set realistic goals for increasing activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk and promote exercise to increase strength and balance.

This performance is a collection of sacred and secular choral music celebrating the Spring season and the renewal of all things. Founded in 2025, the Sierra Chorale is directed by Dr. Roy L. Klassen and accompanied by pianist and composer Kevin Memley (with special guest appearance by Cactus Sam Harris on organ), this program will feature works by composers such as Benjamin Britten, Gabriel Fauré, Z. Randall Stroope, and Kevin Memley, himself.

EmpowHERd Voices is a women-led and focused cohort designed to women filmmakers in the Central Valley. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants met weekly for lectures and hands-on training where they learned the ins and outs of documentary filmmaking. This showcase will feature the short documentary films each participant produced as a part of this cohort.
