The exhibit “Echoes of Nature” by the award-winning photographer Franka M. Gabler runs May 7 - 31, 2026, and includes photographs of smaller, evocative scenes from Yosemite, Eastern Sierra, California coast, and Death Valley. Gabler will be giving a talk and presentation, “The Art of Seeing,” on May 29, 2026, at 7 pm at the Spectrum Art Gallery. The event is open to the public.

Aideed Medina’s work has appeared in various publications, and she is the author of 31 Hummingbird, Segmented Bodies, and a binational chapbook of selected poems from Segmented Bodies / Salmos de la Sierra Madre, with Aziz Córdova. She is the current Fresno Poet Laureate. The evening will also feature live dinner music with Los Fresnanitos, so bring your dinner, lawn chair or blanket.
