Over the past 10 weeks, 11 high school students from across the Central Valley have been learning the art of documentary filmmaking and have each produced their own short film, ready to share their stories on the big screen.

The role of “Janka” is performed by Janice Noga, Janka’s daughter-in-law. It is written by Oscar Speace, Janka’s son, and directed by James Phillip Gates.
