These one-hour workshops will also provide an opportunity to learn how to identify spam calls, send text messages and make important calls using the cell phone.

These workshops are designed to help participants learn that falls and the fear of falling can be controllable. Participants will learn to set realistic goals for increasing activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk and promote exercise to increase strength and balance.

The Central Valley Teen Challenge Walk for Recovery is a community event held during National Recovery Month to celebrate lives transformed through recovery, raise awareness about the impact of addiction, and inspire hope for individuals and families seeking freedom from substance abuse. Funds raised through the Walk for Recovery directly support the life-changing ministry of Central Valley Teen Challenge.
