This week on Valley Edition FM89's Ezra Romero reportson payday lenders and why a Fresno faith based groups says the lenders practices are immoral.  Also on the program Capitol Public Radio's Amy Quinton reports on the dwindling numbers of theDelta Smelt in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. 

Later in the program Valley Edition host Joe Moore explores the topic of mental health with the California Health Care Foundation's Sandra Shewry and Neal Adams, deputy director of the California Institute for Mental Health. 

Moore also speaks with Fresno based author Victor Davis Hanson about his latest book The Savior Generals: How Five Great Commanders Saved Wars That Were Lost - From Ancient Greece to Iraq.

Ending the program Moore leads a conversation with Zócalo Public Square editor Joe Matthewsand Jake Soberal of Bitwise Industries in Fresno about why young adults should move inland to cities like Fresno and Visalia.
