On Saturday the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade returns to the Tower District for the first time since the start of the pandemic. And as a new podcast by Fresno State students shows, the parade is an important part of the history of Fresno’s LGBTQ community. Valley Edition host Kathleen Schock spoke with three of the students behind the podcast, Jackson Kiehlmeier, Madison Nichols and Jasleen Gill.

Kathleen Schock is the host of Valley Edition. In the show, Kathleen and the Valley Public Radio news team explore issues that matter to the residents of Central California through engaging conversations and in-depth reporting.
