Valley Edition - November 29, 2019 - The Thanksgiving Show

This week on Valley Edition: Our Thanksgiving show! We serve up some of our favorite stories from the past year including a profile of a young mariachi singer from Delano, who at the age of 18 released her first album. She's at Harvard now.

Fresno’s Poet Laureate Marisol Bacashares some of her favorite poems and we catch up with the Bakersfield actor who’s retelling history in the San Francisco tour of ‘Hamilton’. We also give you a break from holiday stress by returning to a century-old Buddhist temple in Fresno’s Chinatown where the new owners are creating a meditation center.

And if you’re still hungry, post-Thanksgiving, we’ve got dessert: the oldest Japanese confectionery in the Valley

Listen to those stories in the podcast above.
