Earlier this week, author and Fresno State professor Mai Der Vang was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in poetry for her book “Yellow Rain.” The book combines archival research and declassified government documents to examine the biological warfare committed against Hmong refugees at the end of the Vietnam War. She spoke with Valley Edition host Kathleen Schock about receiving this precious recognition.
