Artist Interviews: Isabel Bayrakdarian & Serouj Kradjian

This Saturday the Fresno Philharmonic will perform a special concert in remembrance of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The centerpiece of the evening will be a world premier of a piece by composer SeroujKradjian, "Cantata For the Living Martyrs."

The piece was commissioned for the occasion by the Armenian Genocide Committee of Fresno and will feature a chorus of over 200, and Kradjian's wife, soprano soloist Isabel Bayrakdarian. The two joined us to talk about Saturday's premier in Fresno at the Saroyan Theatre and the Sunday performance with the Fresno Philharmonic in San Francisco.
