This month's information sessions will show you how to sharpen your skills as a volunteer and as a producer to make sure your production goes as you plan. These informational sessions will review the importance of pre-production, but will also provide tips regarding professional development while on and off set.

Enjoy an adventure on the San Joaquin River. On this 3.5 hour downriver trip, you will paddle from Sumner Peck Ranch to Owl Hollow, the River Parkway Trust’s riverfront property near the River Center. This stretch of the river will take you along quiet, calm stretches, through fun twists and turns and past a heron rookery, with beautiful oak woodland views along the way.
July at Arts Visalia will feature the photography work of Ian Oliver and Linda Neuhaus. Ian invites viewers to connect with the various wildlife that he photographs all over the world, while Linda seeks to put viewers right in the action of a local rodeo in her photojournalistic exhibition. The July exhibitions will run July 5 – 26, 2025. There will be a free opening reception on July 11, 5-7:30PM, and a free artist talk on July 12, 2PM.
Aaron Schoonover is a comedian, sketch comedy writer, and professionally trained actor. He holds a degree in Performance Arts from Fresno State, where he was an award-winning actor.

This annual fundraiser features new/used items. Proceeds benefit Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center.

You will learn the basics of paddling a sit-on-top kayak, with time to practice on a calm area of the river before heading downstream.
