Valley Edition: March 15 - Water Pollution; Henry R. Perea; Fresno Architecture
This week on Valley Edition we hear a story from KQED Central Bureau Chief about a potentially harmful chemical in Fresno's water and what residents can do about it. We also hear from Fresno mayoral candidate and current County Supervisor Henry R. Perea about his vision for the city. Later KVPR Reporter Jeffrey Hess joins the program for a conversation about how immigration advocates are starting a new outreach effort in Kern County to enroll undocumented children in Medi-Cal. Ending the program Valley Edition host Joe Moore is joined by local architects Paul Halajian and Shaunt Yemenjian for a segment remembering the life and works of the late Fresno architect Bill Patnaude.
