Learn about the forced incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II from the direct experience of Marion Masada, a survivor of America’s concentration camps. Marion will share stories of the trauma she endured as a pre-teen and teenager while imprisoned, as well as her family’s struggles to survive amidst rampant racism and discrimination in the years following their release. Judge Dale Ikeda, whose parents were incarcerated, will discuss the history and legacy of the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans. A reception sponsored by the San Joaquin Valley Media Alliance will immediately follow the panel in the new Social Justice Center, OAB 139.

Caring for a person sometimes creates unforeseen situations that cause stress on family relationships. Stress and tension may linger, leading to family conflict. Guest speaker, Dr. Jackie Ryle, will discuss family conflict and provide tips that may help you with caregiving.
Headlining the evening is BMoA’s signature art sale where guests purchase artwork by local and regional artists to add to their own collections. ARTMIX also features sophisticated bites by Chef Lino Gonzales, and an array of refreshing, colorful cocktails and mocktails. Proceeds from the art sale and silent auction benefit both the artists and BMoA. ARTMIX is an age 21+ event. Creative, colorful cocktail attire is encouraged.

Join the Yosemite Climbing Museum for their grand reopening, April 26. The finest collection of artifacts from Yosemite's storied climbing history are highlighted in a completely redesigned exhibit. Festivities start with an open house from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. A ribbon cutting ceremony and refreshments will be served from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.

Amerikatsi follows Charlie as he returns to his Armenian homeland and finds a country under Soviet rule. After being unjustly imprisoned, he soon discovers he can see into a nearby apartment from his cell window.
