Fresno’s Lee Ann Eager on her new role as chair of the California Transportation Commission

The state agency that allocates funding for things like roads, bridges, bike lanes and transit just got a new leader, and she’s from Fresno. Lee Ann Eager took over as chair of the California Transportation Commission last month, and she also serves as the president and CEO of the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation. Valley Edition host Kathleen Schock spoke with her about bringing a local perspective to this statewide position.
