This week on Valley Edition we talk about the issue of hunger in the valley. A new survey of high poverty neighborhoods known as Fresno Hunger Count aims to give leaders a better idea of the state of food insecurity. Philip Erro of the group joins us, as well as Andy Souza of the Community Food Bank. We also talk about the changing retail scene in Hanford with Mike Eiman of the Hanford Sentinel. Mike has reported on city efforts to breathe new life into that city's downtown, as well as big new developments on the edge of town, and new hotels coming to Hanford. We also hear a fact check story from PolitiFact California about high speed rail, a first-person story about life in the valley, and reports about politics and dyslexia.
