Bakersfield College's Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program will host the annual conference on Saturday, April 1, 2023 8AM - 2:30PM on campus. The event aims to educate the community about Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and Pre-Health education. This year, attendees will hear from guest speaker, Katya Echazarreta, the first Mexican-born woman in space who earned her Electrical Engineering degree from UCLA and worked for NASA.
