Veterans and the public are invited to attend this free conference focused on breaking the stigma around seeking help for mental health and substance abuse issues. The Keynote Speaker, 23-year U.S. Army Veteran and 18-year Green Beret Tu Lam, will inspire you with his story. Mr. Lam is the owner of Colorado-based Ronin Tactics. He is also the co-host of the TV show Knife or Fight as well as a character in the Call of Duty video games. Mr. Lam will speak about his military career, trauma, substance abuse, friend’s suicides, and his journey to recovery and wellness. Attendees will also be able to explore resources with staff from the Department of Behavioral Health and the VA, discover services available to Veterans, engage in a panel discussion, and enjoy light refreshments.
