This week of Valley Edition FM89 reporter Ezra David Romero takes a look a how military grade vehicles are used by one local police force. Reporter Diana Aguilera reports on one students experience at the first pharmacy school in Central California. Also on the program, Fresno Bee Political Reporter John Ellis talks local political races and Bakersfield California Reporter John Cox shares a bit of  his reporting on a possible oil refinery expansion in Kern County. 

Ending the program, FM89 reporter Ezra David Romero interviews a hiker who was one of the 85 people airlifted off Half Dome Sunday in Yosemite National Park when the fire got out of hand. 

Joe Moore is the President and General Manager of Valley Public Radio. During his tenure, he's helped lead the station through major programming changes and the COVID-19 pandemic, while maintaining the station's financial health. From 2010-2018 he served as the station's Director of Program Content. In that role, he also served as the host of Valley Edition, and helped launch and grow the station's award-winning local news department. He is a Fresno native and a graduate of California State University, Fresno.
