In honor of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month, Kern Oral & Facial Surgery will offer free oral cancer screenings April 13 and April 16. The screenings are part of a joint partnership with the Head & Neck Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of oral, head and neck cancer.

In this free workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own short film for the Fresno Sweded Film Festival (Swede Fest), including picking a movie, creating a production plan, gathering props and cast with what you have, and filming and editing using accessible tools.

Valley Strong Stadium will feature local vendors, food, and baseball on this special night. Anyone with a disability and their family gets in free.

After the end of World War I, numerous Armenian and international relief organizations, as well as individuals, sought to locate survivors of the Armenian Genocide. Danish missionary Karen Jeppe, renowned among many Armenians, arrived in Aleppo in 1921 and initiated efforts to identify and rescue women and children, placing them in special shelters.
