Ice House Theater: The Norma Conquests
This play, written by Rom Watson, is a funny parody-sequel to the 1950 classic movie “Sunset Boulevard.” The Norma Conquests takes up the story of Norma Desmond, sixteen years after her murder conviction. Norma has been given the chance to participate in a prison work-release program. If she can keep a job, she can leave the prison each day for a few hours. But re-integrating into society as a working woman is proving more difficult than Norma thought!
