On behalf of everyone at Valley Public Radio, we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone our upcoming 36th annual wine tasting and silent auction, scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd. The unfolding coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has significantly affected the events industry. Your safety is our utmost concern during this time.
This annual fundraiser will be postponed to a date later in the fall. We are monitoring the ever-changing issues and will be in contact with you by the end of the week to announce the new date in which we plan to hold the event.
Join us for Valley Public Radio’s premiere event of the year Sunday May 3rd, 2020 at the beautiful Lester Estate on the San Joaquin River. Enjoy an afternoon of wine sampling, delicious food, non-alcoholic beverages and great friends.
There will be live music, food from The Elbow Room, a silent auction, a raffle and more. All proceeds will benefit Valley Public Radio. More than 40 vintners are expected to be in attendance, showcasing the finest wines.
This is an event for adults 21 and over, and will be held rain or shine. Photo ID required for entry. Guests are encouraged to use ride-sharing services to get to the event. Pickup and dropoff point is at 7617 N. Van Ness. If you are sampling wines, please sample responsibly.
