Fresno State students will play restored instruments from the Holocaust in weekend concert

Tomorrow evening, 10 restored violins and one cello that survived the Holocaust will be played by the Fresno State Symphony Orchestra for a special concert, “Violins of Hope.” Valley Edition Host Kathleen Schock spoke with the conductor, Thomas Loewenheim. He’s a Fresno State professor of cello and director of the Symphony Orchestra and Strings.
