We also look at the future of vocational education in the valley, and talk to Fresno Unified board member Brooke Ashjian, who wants the district to build a new high school focusing on career technical education.

We close the show with an interview featuring filmmaker Denny Tedesco, who is the director of the new documentary “The Wrecking Crew” which tells the story of the LA studio musicians who were the backup band for everyone from Frank Sinatra to The Byrds and Sonny and Cher. The film is at the Tower Theatre in Fresno this Friday for a screening from Fresno Filmworks.
