Bakersfield Museum of Art explores identity and race in this season’s exhibitions

A trio of exhibitions premiere on April 28 at the Bakersfield Museum of Art that discuss identity and humanity. The museum will feature paintings from local artist Prapat Sirinavarat, works from the permanent collection, and the traveling exhibition “Personal to Political: Celebrating the African American Artists of Paulson Fontaine Press.” To learn more about the museum’s spring season, Valley Edition host Kathleen Schock spoke with museum curator Rachel Wainwright.
