And now for the Weekend, today marks the start of Fresno Filmworks' 15th annual Fresno Film Festival at The Tower Theater. The three-day event includes such films as the political documentary Raise Hell, The Life and Times of Molly Ivins about the Texas maverick and national political commentator known for her razor-sharp wit.

Eight films from places around the globe will play this weekend at the Fresno Film Festival. Think Palestinian race car drivers, an adaption of Heidi and a documentary all about Yo-Yo Ma.

The historic Tower Theatre will come alive with films from across the globe as the 2015 Fresno Film Festival opens November 13. The festival put together by Fresno Filmworks will feature eight programs with 21 short and feature-length movies from 21 different countries. There will also be special filmmaker appearances, Q&A panels and more.
