For the sixth year in a row, the independent nonprofit rating service Charity Navigator has awarded Valley Public Radio its highest honor - four stars. The rating is based on the station's stewardship of donor funds, financial health, ethics and transparency policies.

Only 9% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Valley Public Radio outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Valley Public Radio apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.
