Valley Edition: January 5 - El Niño Is Here; Violence Against Sikh Community; John Muir Trail

This week on Valley Edition we talk about El Niño related storms that have begun to hit the region. Daniel Swain joins the conversation. He runs the website Weather West, which has provided a unique California weather and climate discussion since 2006. He is a PhD candidate in the Department of Earth System Science at Stanford University.

We also talk about violence happening to the Sikh community in the region. Deep Sing with the Jakara Movement and Arjun Singh Sethiwith the Sikh Coalitionjoin the conversation. 

Ending the program we speak with Scott Lange and Nick Foster about their crowd funded book "The Range of Light: Night & Day on the John Muir Trail."
