This week on Valley Edition we talk about the ongoing measles scare with Dr. Dee Lacy of Kaiser Permanente's medical center in Fresno and Sara Bosse from the Fresno County Department of Public Health. Later we speak with Bryant Jurgens, with the USGS, about a studyshowing high levels of uranium in Valley private wells. 

We also speak with Scott Gediman, with Yosemite National Park, about a rare Sierra Nevada red fox siting. Ending the program we speak Vicki Cruz with the Bakersfield Museum of Art about upcoming exhibits. 

Joe Moore is the President and General Manager of KVPR / Valley Public Radio. He has led the station through major programming changes, the launch of KVPR Classical and the COVID-19 pandemic. Under his leadership the station was named California Non-Profit of the Year by Senator Melissa Hurtado (2019), and won a National Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative reporting (2022).
