This week on Valley Edition we take a look at several issues surrounding a difficult topic, deathand dying. We’ll learn about a movement to help spur conversations about end of life decisions, a new report on palliative care in California, and a new bill that would bring physician assisted suicide to the Golden State. After the reports we speak with Kate O'Malley, with the California HealthCare Foundation, and Chris Meyers, the director of the Kegley Institute of Ethics at CSU Bakersfield.
KVPR reporter Jeffrey Hess also reports on the latest on Fresno's Deputy Police Chief who was arrested last week on alleged drug charges.
We’ll also take a tour of the state capitol, and look for some of the hidden history buried inside those historic brick walls - we’ll even go inside the massive dome for a special look. That and almond milk– sales are booming, it’s produced here in the valley – but when it comes to nutrition – how healthy is it for you?
Ending the show we talk about the Fresno Catacomb Partywith show representative Mathr De Leon.
