StoryCorps, a renowned nonprofit celebrating the stories of everyday Americans, will be stopping in Bakersfield for three days of recording during its San Joaquin Valley Mobile Stop. Recording at the Beale Memorial Library from March 11-13, StoryCorps will make a limited number of appointments available to Valley Public Radio listeners. Following the StoryCorps Mobile Tour visit, Valley Public Radio will launch a new broadcast and podcast series titled “StoryCorps: San Joaquin” featuring highlights from the stories recorded in Central California, debuting in late spring.
