PETER SAGAL, HOST:

Now, panel, what'll make Democrats and Republicans finally get along? Jessi Klein?

JESSI KLEIN: I think if a race of aliens ever comes to earth with the sole intention of taking away all of our teleprompters, Congress will work together to destroy them.

(LAUGHTER)

SAGAL: Tom Bodett?

TOM BODETT: I, Tom Bodett, folksy radio wallpaper, will run for Congress from the great single electoral vote state of Vermont. And I will take to the congressional floor and I will make an impassioned speech for civility, honest debate, country and service. And they will, as one, rise up and wet themselves with laughter.

(LAUGHTER)

(APPLAUSE)

SAGAL: And Charlie Pierce?

CHARLIE PIERCE: Mitt Romney will get elected president, giving both sides a president that neither one of them really trusts.

(LAUGHTER)

(APPLAUSE)

CARL KASELL: Well, if any of that happens, panel, we'll ask you about it on WAIT WAIT...DON'T TELL ME!

SAGAL: Thank you, Carl Kasell. Thanks also to Tom Bodett, Jessi Klein, and Charlie Pierce. Thanks to Blythe Haaga this week. Thanks to the wonderful crowd here at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Maryland.

(APPLAUSE)

SAGAL: Thanks to all of you for listening. I'm Peter Sagal. We will see you next week.
