Orion Weiss

Pianist Orion Weiss is one of the most acclaimed artists of his generation. His visits Fresno this weekend to perform with the Fresno Philharmonic for a concert titled "I Got Rhythm" which features music by Gershwin, Ravel and several Latin-American composers, including Marquez, Fernandez and Revueltas.  In our interview, we talk to Weiss about his career, working with his former teacher Emmanuel Ax, and about performing the music of Gershwin and Ravel.

Joe Moore
Joe Moore is the President and General Manager of KVPR / Valley Public Radio. He has led the station through major programming changes, the launch of KVPR Classical and the COVID-19 pandemic. Under his leadership the station was named California Non-Profit of the Year by Senator Melissa Hurtado (2019), and won a National Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative reporting (2022).
