Rising inflation and the backlogs at U.S. ports are making it more difficult, and expensive, to buy some products. But this supply chain breakdown hurts more than just consumers. To find out what this means for the region’s ag industry, Valley Edition Host Kathleen Schock checked in with some local farmers. From the Fresno County Farm Bureau, she spoke with Daniel Hartwig of Woolf Farming. Also joining the conversation from the Tulare County Farm Bureau were Matthew Watkins with Bee Sweet Citrus and Landon Fernandes with Fernjo Farms.

Kathleen Schock is the host of Valley Edition. In the show, Kathleen and the Valley Public Radio news team explore issues that matter to the residents of Central California through engaging conversations and in-depth reporting.
