The California Report Celebrates 25 Years With Online Event December 8th

KQED / The California Report

With its sprawling territory, climatic and cultural extremes, and teeming and diverse population, California is tough to cover. Yet, for the last 25 years, The California Report has knit together this vast and varied state, bringing you news stories and culture that define California’s role in American life.

Produced by San Francisco’s KQED, in collaboration with public radio stations and reporters throughout the Golden State, The California Report has chronicled the biggest stories of the last quarter century, from fires and earthquakes, to climate change, same-sex marriage and the growth of the internet. But beyond the headlines, the program has also served as the on-air chronicle of California’s daily concerns, evolving culture, and ongoing heart. The program has also served as a launching pad for national talent, with TCR alums including All Things Considered co-host Ailsa Chang and NPR White House correspondent Tamara Keith.

ONLINE EVENT DECEMBER 8, 2020
