Quincy Weekley is one of the strong new comedy faces to come out of the Los Angeles comedy scene. He entertained the masses as a guest on Craig Shoemakers national radio show and has opened up for George Lopez, Tommy Davidson, and Damon Wayans. He placed second in the LA's Super Bowl of Comedy and has traveled overseas to perform for the troops.

Madera Theatre Project presents 'Harvest Moon' by Jose Cruz Gonzalez and directed by Elena Navarrette. This dramatic play tells the story of a dying artist, who paints a mural for her son, which chronicles four generations of a Mexican-American farmworker family and their struggle for life. It is a show that celebrates life, arts and family. Please note: This play contains mature themes and language, including the use of alcohol and marijuana.

This monthly food truck event through the summer that supports the local nonprofit Eastern Madera Recreation & Parks, features local vendors from BBQ, to hot dogs, plus a local winery and other great vendors.
The free Friday night concerts continue with American string band music from this versatile duo on fiddles, mandolins, guitar, autoharp and banjo. Folks are encouraged to come early, bring a picnic dinner and a lawn chair and hunker down in the shade under the park trees.
