This October, the Central California Family Crisis Center will be hosting a virtual 5K during Domestic Violence Awareness month. A virtual 5K is equal to 3.1 miles and can be completed anywhere and at any time from October 1 to October 31, 2021. Miles can be completed all at once or over a period of days. Participants will be asked to pay a $30 entry fee and will receive a specially designed t-shirt and an FCC lapel pin to wear long after the virtual event. The Family Crisis Center is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of families affected by domestic violence.
