Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall

The Center for Creativity and the Arts (CCA) presents “Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall,” Aug. 19 through Oct. 31, 2021, at the Phebe Conley Art Gallery at Fresno State. During the exhibition, the gallery will be open to the public from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. The critically acclaimed 2019 exhibition commemorating the uprising is now opening for the second time to give audiences on the West Coast an opportunity to learn, reflect and revel in the profound legacy of this cultural occasion through artistic expression. In addition to works displayed at the 2019 Brooklyn Museum exhibition, CCA will work with the Brooklyn Museum to include local and West Coast artists. A catalog of the exhibition will be available through the center.
