"Sasquatch Journal" and "The Boy Who Vanished" on Valley Writers Read

Two more stories are featured on this edition of Valley Writers Read.

C.B. Mosher's "Sasquatch Journal" is about a man who gives up life in the big city for a home in the country, only to have problems with a wild animal.

In the second story, "The Boy Who Vanished", author Dolores Levy describes the shock and grief a mother experiences when two military men come to her door and inform her about her son.

Franz Weinschenk, his parents and his older brother Fritz were indeed lucky to get out of Germany just before World War II. For a while they lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Madera, CA. He graduated from Madera High and Fresno State. From 1948 to 1952 he taught at Edison High School in Fresno after which he was drafted and served in the US Army for two years.
