Over the past two weeks workers have hauled tons of fill dirt to the site to raise the grade several inches, in preparation for pouring the foundation's concrete slab. Workers today also began using a trenching machine to dig trenches for plumbing and utilities that will serve the new broadcast center.
While the completion of site grading helped further define the outline of the building, another development has made it even easier to visualize the walls that will soon go up. Workers have used chalk powder to outline the shape of the building's exterior walls. In the photos above you can see the overall outline of the building take shape.
