The League of Women Voters of Fresno present a Regional Workshop on September 25 at Stone Soup. The sessions will include a panel discussion on Water, the upcoming November election, and the Valley Blueprint. The Workshop will be a five-hour event including registration, a light breakfast and lunch. The cost is $25 including lunch or bring your own lunch and attend the sessions for $15. 11th Annual Fine Art and Fine Craft Show will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 10am-3pm at Northwest Church in Fresno. Over fifty local fine artists display and sell their art in this casual setting. Mingle with local artists, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and be inspired. A Taste of River Park, benefiting Saint Agnes Hospital Medical Foundation, will be held on September 25 from 6-10pm at the River Park shopping center in Fresno. Includes tastings from over 20 restaurants, Rich Tasting Brews, live entertainment, and Macy’s Fall Fashion Preview. An event for 21+. Tickets are $30 online or in advance / $40 at the door. Kids and teens are invited to A Taste of River Park KIDS from 11a-2pm. There will be a special fashion show just for families. There will be family focused food vendors and activities for kids. The FCASH 4th Annual Cultural Arts Conference will be held on Wednesday, September 29, and Thursday, September 30. The Conference theme is Creating Collaborative Clout – the power of working together, featuring Rick Lester, CEO of Target Resource Group (TRG), America’s largest consulting company dedicated to arts and culture. Rick counsels on patron behavior trends and their impact on patronage and revenue generation for organizations and communities. The conference will open on Wednesday with a VIP/Sponsors Reception at All Things Fresno and KJWL studios from 5-7pm. The conference itself will be held at the historic Warnors Theater.
