Full-Time Individual Gifts Manager

Valley Public Radio has an opening for a full-time Individual Gifts manager, who will be responsible for generating new and increased giving for prospective and active donors at the major gifts level. The candidate will be expected to identify, qualify, cultivate and steward donors, working with and in support of the General manager, Development Director, Board members and voluunteers.

Interested applicants should posses two or more years of development related experience. Other qualities would include proficiency in written and verbal communications, organizational abilities, effective listening and memory skills, and a genuine interest in people and relationship building. Successful experience in making cold calls is required, and the candidate must be highly motivated and goal oriented. Candidates must have a college degree and a valid California driver’s license as well as reliable transportation.
